Day 1 Ushuaia -Check In

Between 10:00 PM and 5:00 PM, we will check-in at Avenida San Martín 409, next to the pier, to embark at 6:00 PM. After boarding, we will make a welcome toast and introduce the Captain and his crew. The ship will sail to the far south immediately after. Through the mythical Beagle Channel and the Strait of Magellan, we will travel through Patagonia and the channels of Tierra del Fuego.

Day 2  Cape Horn – Wulaia Bay

We will sail through the Murray Channel and Nassau Bay, arriving at Cape Horn National Park, where we will disembark, if weather conditions permit, to experience the magic of walking through one of the southernmost points of the world, surrounded by charm and legends.

In the afternoon, we will disembark at Wulaia Bay, a historic site of one of the largest settlements of the native Yagans canoeists. We will reach a viewpoint, walking through the Magellanic forest in. which lengas, coigües, canelos, and ferns grow, among other

Day 3  Pia Glacier – Porter Glacier

In the morning, we will sail along the northwest arm of the Beagle Channel to enter and disembark in the Pia Fjord. We will make a trip to the viewpoint from where you will see the homonymous glacier, whose main peak extends from the top of the mountain range to the sea. During the afternoon, in our Zodiac boats, we will navigate between high rocky walls until reaching the Porter Glacier.

Day 4  Agostini Sound – Aguila Glacier – Condor Glacier

In the morning, we will navigate the Cockburn Channel to enter the Agostini Sound, where you can appreciate the glaciers that descend from the center of the Darwin Mountain Range, some of them reaching the sea. During the morning, we will disembark in Zodiac boats for a walk around a lagoon formed by the melting of the Aguila Glacier. In the afternoon, we will navigate in Zodiac boats to approach the Condor Glacier. We will learn about the formation of glaciers and their influence on the abrupt geography of the Fuegian channels.

Day 5  Magdalena Island – Punta Arenas

We will disembark at Magdalena Island first thing in the morning if weather conditions are suitable. On the island, we will be able to see a huge colony of Magellanic penguins. This excursion is replaced by a landing on Marta Island in September and April, where South American sea lions can be sighted from Zodiac boats. Then, we will arrive in Punta Arenas, disembarking at approximately 11:30 hrs.

ITINÉRAIRE :

The catamaran will take you on a navigation of 3 hours where you will enjoy a unique landscape full of floating icebergs, exuberant vegetation and imposing mountains that will amaze you.

You will be picked up at your accommodation and it will be a 2 hours drive to the Serrano entrance of the National Park. Here they will check your entrance ticket and will head up to hotel Lago Grey.

In this hotel, our guide or driver will assist for your check-in. 

To board the catamaran we will walk from hotel Grey to the river Pingo where we will cross the bridge and will be lead/walk through a native forest. The navigation will take up to 3 hours. The catamaran’s guide will expose a safety briefing and will highlight the geography and formation of this of the southern ice fields. Then they will open the bar and you will be able to collect your welcome drink, which can be a pisco sour, calafate sour or a whiskey with ice from the glacier. After arriving the shore we will leave the catamaran and the excursion will be finished. We will directly head back to the parking area to return to Puerto Natales.

        ITINERARY :

        DEPARTURE

        06:30 to 07:00 hrs. – Pick up at your accommodation and the we head towards the Torres del Paine National Park in our vehicle.

        This is a medium-high difficulty hike that takes 5 hours (roundtrip) along a steep route. The trail will leads us through a native Lenga forest, the home of many wildlife like the huemul (South Andean deer), one of the most beautiful and shy animals in the park, and also many birds that we will be able to listen and maybe to see.

        The Ferrier Hill is a pyramidal type peak that belongs to the Patagonian Andes and from its viewpoint, at 700 meters above the sea level (2296 feet), we will have a complete view of Torres del Paine National Park, including Zapata and Grey Glaciers, that belong to the Patagonian southern Ice Field, the French Valley and the West face of the imposing Paine Massif.

        Once at the lookout we will rest for lunch and some pictures. We will return to our starting point and from there drive to Camping Pehoe to hike agin aprox 1 hour to “Mirador Condor” (Condor Viewpoint). This viewpoint boasts breath-taking views of the Paine Horns and Pehoe Lake.

        Our tour takes us now to “Salto Grande” viewpoint, to observe the beautiful waterfall and later on to the Nordenskjöld viewpoint where we will enjoy the view over the lake and the East face of the Paine Massif. We make our way to the Laguna Amarga exit of the Park, where we will be able to have a glimpse of the Paine Towers.

        Approximate time of arrival in Puerto Natales: 20:00 hrs.

          06:00 to 06:30 hrs – Departure from Puerto Natales towards the Torres del Paine National Park in our transportation.

          We start from Portería Lago Sarmiento to Portería Laguna Amarga (Fauna and Flora Trail), approximately two hours. We will walk through the Patagonian steppe, where we will have a view of the Paine Massif and its lakes. The trail has a great variety of fauna, in addition, we will visit some cave paintings that are said to date back 10,000 years, made by the first natives of the area.

          We will stop at the Nordenskjöld viewpoint where we can see the Paine Massif and the lake that bears the same name. After the explanations about the geology of the place by our guide, we will go to Salto Grande to start a 2-hour round trip walk to the Los Cuernos viewpoint.

          Time for lunch at the Pehoé camp, (lunch not included), and after relaxing with the view of the Cuernos del Paine, we will climb to the Mirador Cóndor where we will have a majestic panoramic view and with luck we will spot the glides of a pair of condors who nest in that place

          Arriving back to our transport we get ready to return to Puerto Natales

          ITINERARY:

          06:00 a.m. to 06:15 p.m. – Departure from Puerto Natales towards the Torres del Paine National Park in our private transport that has trekking poles and certified guides. 
           
          After 2 hours of travel we will arrive at the Pudeto sector, where we begin our departure boarding the catamaran, which will leave us at the Paine Grande refuge. 
           
          We will begin with the trekking towards the Valle del Francés, following the north shore of Lake Pehoé, with a view of the Cuernos del Paine. 
           
          We will walk along the path that belongs to Circuit W, which is the intermediate vertical line of this route. 
           
          In 3 hours and 30 minutes, we will arrive at the French Viewpoint where we will appreciate the Hoja, Espada and Fortaleza hills. 
           
          After 1 hour at the viewpoint we will have time to rest, have lunch and recover energy. We begin the return towards the Paine Grande refuge, completing 20 km of walking and we will board the catamaran that will take us back to the Pudeto sector, where our vehicle will be waiting for us. 
           
          Approximately 21:00, return to Puerto Natales and at your accommodation.

          ITINERARY:

          Pick up in your hotel and ride to Estancia Ernesto Helmer (27km). You will meet your guide and after a short briefing including safety protocols you start hiking this private property. The trail will wind and climb through centennial Lengas trees, curious geological formations, old Indian paintings, condor nests and small caves util you reach the Laguna Sofia lookout for an impressive view of the Laguna and surroundings. Returning by the Milodon cave where remains of old Pleistocene fauna were discovered. It is possible to encounter orchideas, different types of birds including crested caracaras, the black chested eagle, owls and the peregrine falcons among manies
